Ah, when using Samsung Galaxy Note 9, you want to use the full phone's potential - a portable PC. Samsung developed DEX for this purpose and for S8 and S9 one needs to buy Samsung's DEX station. But with Note9 DEX part is "embedded" within SW so one only needs USB-C - HDMI cable.<br><br>So, if you need to work for some time, you need to charge the phone, use mouse and keyboard and maybe some externally connected USB (storage) device.<br><br>And for this you BUY this "Cwxuan USB 3.1 Type-C to HDMI / USB 3.0 / USB-C Adapter"<br><br>It works - and with remote-enabled S-PEN, PowerPoint via Android phone becomes an easy task :)

Just plugged it in my Huawei Mate 20 Pro and voila! Worked perfectly. Charging, Logitech Wireless Combo, mouse scrolling and typing just like on normal desktop. <br><br>The screen fits nicely on my Qnix 27" 2.5k resolution too! Except the icons are big but no big deal. <br><br>I'm typing this review currently with Huawei desktop mode. :-)

for basic operations it works, HDMI could not be tested yet<br>as its not clear if the USB-c also supports HDMI out with the mini-HDMI port next to it.<br>On the USB 3.0 port the speed is not higher than USB 2.0<br>and the USB-c pass through of electricity is a bit flaky
